We are the owners of 2 beautiful and comfortable houses, 50 meters (150 feet) from the beach and near two small and authentic fishing villages (Chelem and Chuburna) in the Yucatan peninsula, on the Gulf of Mexico.

The 2 houses are located in the same lot (not adjacent to each other) and are available for rent, barter or sale together or separately.

The properties offer a tangible and feasible opportunity to work part-time running a cozy Bed & Breakfast, while RETIRING by the beach enjoying a pleasant weather all year round, as well as a healthy, peaceful and fulfilling lifestyle.

Ideal place for 1 or 2 families to spend a vacation and for the parents to sleep in the front one with the ocean view balcony, while the children stay in the other house.

Located in an inexpensive area is a perfect place for vacation and relaxation. 15 minutes away West of Progreso and 30 minutes away from the city of Merida, Yucatan, which offers access through its international airport and provides many points of interest with several archeological, ecological and cultural sites in the region, plus a very rich background history as well as tourist attractions i.e. Merida, Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Lol-tun, Rio Lagartos, Ticul, Celestun, Valladolid, Tizimin, Izamal, Kabah, Sayil, etc. A state of the art bridge between Progreso and Chelem is now operational.

Many retired Americans and Canadians have already chosen this region as their place of retirement based on its location, low taxes, low cost of living, friendly reception from local people and safe surroundings. Therefore; foreigners living in the area can be found all year round.
